Working full-time in Technology, my industry is heavily dominated by men and most tech offices have a less-than-formal dress code; however our particular office tries to keep it on the classy(ish) side Monday – Thursday. Fridays are our ‘casual’ days which I love because who wants to be all stuffy on the last day of the work week? And I love Friday because I’m somewhat of a denim junkie. The husband may call me obsessed because my closet is home to nearly 30 pairs of jeans, after a Spring-purge of 9 pairs, but that’s his prerogative. It’s nice to be able to be more relaxed once a week and be able to pull out various items that I may not be able to on my dressier days.
This Spring I am all about soft, pastel colors so as soon as I saw this powder pink Vince Camuto blouse, I knew I had to have it! It will be a great transitional item that can be tucked into a pencil skirt for meetings or with a pair of high-waisted lace shorts for a lunch date. For my Jean Friday, I paired it with my absolute FAVORITE pair of skinny jeans. Combined with my York Buckle Tote that I’ve been using as a laptop bag and a pair of fun leopard heels, this outfit works perfectly.
