Sometimes you find a piece of clothing that you absolutely love and need in every color andthis appropriately named ‘Softly’ sweater is the perfect example of that for me. Unfortunately my budget doesn’t allow for me to own it in the 5+ colors it comes in,Macy’s Friends & Family Sale has made adding it in the taupe color justifiable. 😉 The slightly baggy fit and softness allow for you to easily layer under OR over it. With our temperatures going from 25* one day to 60* the next and then back to 30*, sweaters like these are on constant repeat for me. Once again, Free People nailed it in the knits department. I’ve been eyeing this, this, and this from Macy’s FP selection and really tempted to spend some of my birthday money on them.
The same day I got this ballet slipper-colored sweater in the mail, I packed it in my weekender bag for a quick trip to see my parents & sister in Texas just a few weeks back. It paired well with another ‘sale’ find in my destructed denim and flats for wandering around the Denton Square and dinner/drinks at Sweetwater Tavern. No need for a jacket on this trip, I slipped on this tank {a major splurge, but it feels like a second skin and I wear it almost daily} underneath and called it good. I’ve since worn it with leggings for a Target/TJ Maxx run and loosely front-tucked into this pencil skirt for work. Regardless of your color preference, you seriously cannot go wrong with one of these Softly sweaters!
