Spring is just around the corner, right?! I bought bright yellow Daffodils for the house yesterday which means yes. If I close my eyes to smell them I can almost feel my skin getting bronzed and the warm breeze in my hair, but when I reopen my eyes that warm breeze is dishearteningly replaced by a 35+ mph sustained wind out of the West/Northwest. There’s a rumor that these beyond annoying winds are bringing in a possible snowstorm. BYE, SNOW! We do NOT want you anymore. I actually broke up with the idea of frigid weather about 2 weeks ago so like my crazy ex, it needs to stay in the past. This weekend was a whirlwind but in a great way! I got to spend all day Saturday with 2 of my 3 sisters setting up and decorating the nursery of my FIRST NEPHEW! Eeeek–I am so excited to be an Aunt and love on the little guy! 🙂 Sunday I took my first ever Pilates Reformer class {I am already sore!} and meal prepped for my first go at the Monday Glow Guide. Stayed tuned for coming-soon posts with my feelings on both the workout and the guide!

Ok, so onto this outfit. I’m seriously in LOVE with the entire combination. I was able to wear this getup to dinner last week and it gave me all the positive feels. I absolutely love the candy pink stripes in this long sleeve {that is on sale!} and how it brightens up an otherwise basic look. I’ve adopted the ‘white denim anytime’ rule and like that I’m able to get use out of this great pair of DL1961s that would have otherwise sat on a shelf in my closet until the proverbial ‘after Memorial Day’ time. The material is just thick enough and just stretchy enough to feel like a second skin and I like how the look cuffed–like I styled them in these photos–just as much as I like them unrolled with a fun pair of wedges. I know some people have an aversion to investing in white denim since many will not wear them as often as a dark pair, so I found these, these, and these as more budget-friendly options. I can easily see myself wearing versions of this outfit to an al-fresco Brunch, Farmer’s Market run, or even to work on Casual Friday because it has so much versatility. Adding a denim jacket, studded flats and a neutral tote make this appropriate nearly year-round and fulfills my dreams of Spring perfectly!
