Periwinkle is such an underrated color.
Do me a favor…go take a peek inside your closet or dresser and see how many periwinkle items you own. Maybe 1? Probably none if you were like me. Shame on me for having none because the moment I received this dress I realized what I was missing. Hellooooo universally flattering color! *Praise hands for sure!* I mean, I’m literally obsessed. I also am 99.9% sure it will/would look amazing on all skin tones and stand out regardless of your hair color. It’s bright & cheery without being overly in-your-face and it just gives me all the feels to be honest. Combine this pretty hue with the fact it’s plastered all over a sleeveless swing dress and I’m in wardrobe heaven!

That’s exactly how I styled this beauty for a simple evening of Rose, prosciutto flatbreads & girl time. I have had my eye on this fun tassel necklace for a few weeks and was able to snag it during BaubleBar’s sale but after already getting a ton of use out of it, I realize I could’ve justified it at full-price too. It contrasted so well with the periwinkle and by keeping my shoes super simple, I was able to keep the focus on my top half. My only complaint is that the swing nature of the dress makes it not the most ideal to wear when it’s really windy out. I may or may not have shown a few people a preview on what I had on underneath 😉 Oops!!! Because I love this dress so much, I’m strongly considering adding the Melon color to my closet as well. With so many ways to style dresses like this, they’re kind of a no-brainer to have on hand.

I only have 2 shirts that are periwinkle but I am a BIG fan! So pretty!
Well, I can say that I have nothing periwinkle in my closet but I do have cobalt blue which is a favorite of mine. Loving this dress on you. I love how flowy it is and and the simple style of it. The color is also gorgeous. Make sure you never walk out of the house without shorts underneath on those windy days. Lol.
