Sick of hearing how Fall is here and everyone is just so excited?!

Well I’m not so I’m incorporating this fabulous time of the year into today’s Workout Wednesday post. I mean it’s my blog so I can do whatever I want, right? 😉 I’m kidding…one of the most common requests that I get for this weekly series is what to wear for your workout. With the temps cooling off here, and especially brisk early mornings the past few days, I’ve had to alter what I wear when I head out with Beckett for our morning run. Fingers crossed that the days of going out in short shorts & the most breathable tanks I own are gone and here to stay are crisp days that require a little more layering. I’m not someone who sweats excessively and never have been so I tend to wear more than most would on say a 60* outdoor run. Keep that in mind with my suggestions below as the pieces I’ve selected are my favorites for the 45-60* range with minimal wind. I also could run in capris or leggings year-round if that’s all I had with me so swapping out my shorts for a pair of those is a pretty seamless transition. My #1 focus is to make sure that my muscles and joints stay warm but not overheated and that I’m comfortable to warm versus starting off too chilly and assuming I’ll warm up to where my body needs to be.

I’m sharing my 5 favorite tees, long sleeves, lightweight jackets/hoodies, capris, leggings and accessories for those transitional mornings where you’re just not positive what to wear! Major bonus…a few of these items are perfect for the athleisure trend and could easily be worn for more than just working out! What are you loving in terms of Fall Fitness!? I’d love to know!! 🙂
