Weekend, where did you go!?
Can you come back? Pretty please. I promise I will pay more attention to you and take it easy! For all you Mamas out there, BLESS YOUR HEARTS. I picked Palmer up on Friday afternoon and we spent the weekend shopping, snuggling, watching Mickey, eating at Charleston’s and picking my SIL Lindsey’s wedding dress. He was SUCH a trooper all day but goodness gracious I got nearly no sleep. So even more than I already did, I admire you moms {and dads!} who do this every day! P gave us a run for our money but I know 100% that Kyle and I would totally trade sleepless nights for a little nugget of our own. Someday, right?! 🙂 Since a majority of my attire over the weekend included these new joggers, a loose tee and cardigan, I welcomed the excuse to get dressed in ‘real’ clothes on Sunday afternoon for a late brunch.

It’s pretty obvious that I have a thing for stripes. Take a peak into my closet {yes, it’s color-coordinated} and you’ll see quite the stack of striped tops. It’s just a pattern I cannot say no to. They can be dressy, casual, beachy or business and I love myself a good versatile style. Pair a thin black and white stripe with a flirty peplum and you bet I bought it. Plus with a price tag of only $35 it was even more justifiable. The sad thing is this adorable little top sells out in seconds. I swear it’s sold-out more than it is available but if you catch it in your size, hit purchase immediately! I went with an XS and I feel like it fits TTS. The weather was somewhat acceptable yesterday, minus the fact that we’ve had maybe 3 hours of combined sun in like 3 weeks, so I was able to wear a lighter jacket {exact jacket linked but my color is no longer available} and these super cute tassel mules. Y’all if you’re in the market for a similar pair of shoes, buy these right now. I’m ordering in a 2nd color but I just haven’t decided which one just yet! Everything paired together created what was an easy look that made me crave Spring even more than I already do! Crossing my fingers that the bitter cold, blustery winds and excessive snow are a thing of the past!.
I’m currently dealing with a major case of the Mondays. Anyone else experiencing them as well!?

We are actually having a Monday off for snow right now, so I’m still very much in the winter mindset:) But I LOVE that top! The peplum waist starts at the perfect spot- I always worry that they’ll be short on me but this one looks great! And loveee the color of that jacket!

hahaha, that is why I LIVE in jogger-like gear every. single. day. My 6, 4 and 2 year old keep me EXHAUSTED!!! I am LOVING that stripes are going to be huge this Spring/Summer!! This peplum top is adorable and you can totally bring into the Spring!! And THAT JACKET!!!! LOVE!!!
