#1 Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato

This Starb’s drink is so good, IMO, that it’s getting it’s own shout out today. It was introduced about a month ago but I was hesitant to try because I’m loyal to my go-to drink and because I knew this would cost me like $12. Then I earned a free drink and figured it was the perfect time to try. And then I became addicted. Damn you, Starbucks. I use to hit up their drive-thru 3-4x/week to get my coffee fix but one of my goals in 2017 was to cut back on my trips and make more at home; not only to save $$ but more so to save on calories. I’m down to rewarding myself once a week after my Thursday OrangeTheory classes and it takes everything in my power not to order like 6 of these Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiatos at a time. Say that 5 times fast! 😉 If you haven’t tried one, go out immediately and do so. If you hate almond milk then you’re crazy–kidding! kind of…–then substitute it but I’m not convinced it’ll taste as fabulous. Oooh and I’m pretty sure it only has like 15 calories so don’t worry, HA!

#2 Running Buddy

Last Saturday I took full advantage of having Cassidy here from Ohio and we headed out to Lake Zorinsky for our 10 mile run. It is AMAZING how much better it is to run WITH someone. We both had headphones in but I swear the time went twice as fast as it does when I’m alone. Which is 99% of my runs. If you’re training for a race or just trying to catch a love of running, I highly encourage you to find a buddy. The buddy system is good at parties to keep you from getting too drunk or lost and I think the buddy system is great for workouts too. Unfortunately Cassidy went back home on Sunday morning so this weekend I’m back to being solo but it’s my goal to find someone to at least tackle my long weekend runs with. So if you’re reading this and close, send me a text! Otherwise I may have to resort to a Craigslist ad. Or wouldn’t it be awesome if there was a Tinder-type app for finding a fitness friend? BRB, going to develop that right now.

#3 Straw Bags

Unless you’ve been living under a fashion rock, you’re well aware of how popular and trendy straw/beach totes are right now. I’ve always been a fan of them for tropical vacays but the more I see people carrying them around for every day bags, the more I feel like I need to get my hands on one! I’m on the wait list for the small Cult Gaia Ark Bag {whyyy is it taking so long!?} because the big one in stock is just too big for me, but I am also in the market for a tote-style that can hold my life for lack of a better description. I keep adding ones to my cart but don’t end up pulling the trigger and then when I decide it’s time, they’re sold out. So I need y’alls help! I’ve narrowed my choices down to 6 and am ready to invest in one that I can start using ASAP and take with me on a few vacations this Summer. Which is your favorite?!
