Friday. FriYAY. Either way, it’s a good day!

Whatever you want to call today, I’m in. It’s finallllllllllly time for me to head to Ohio to visit Cassidy & Josh, explore the city of Toledo, get in some puppy cuddles with Frodo, discover new coffee shops…oh and run a Half Marathon. Eeek! So excited! The weather is looking very Spring-like and perfect for a little 13.1 jaunt. If you caught Wednesday’s post, you know that you can track Cassidy and I on Sunday AM via the RaceJoy app. Send us ALL the cheers {literally, you can send us messages DURING our run} you can–we love every single one. If you, like most people, won’t be up at 7:02am EST you can send us encouragement pre-race too! 🙂 To no shock of anyone who knows me, I’m not quite done packing. My flight doesn’t leave until 5pm this evening so I have plenty of time. Or so I’m telling myself. Honestly I don’t need much more than race clothes, running shoes & my headphones because one of the best perks of having sisters is raiding their closets and having an entirely new wardrobe for a weekend. Ironically despite all 4 of us Breon girls {5 if you count Mom!} having completely different body types, we can share almost all of our clothes. Shoes are a totally different story which is kind of a bummer since we each have a slightly different style and it’d be awesome to have access to 4x the amount of shoes. Wow…I’m rambling. Sorry. I’m running on a 24 oz. Iced Coconut Milk Latte and no food. Need some carbs ASAP. But now lets focus on my outfit because it’s so comfy and perfect for the temperamental April weather!

Applique flowers & an inexpensive price tag.

Any time I see pieces with detailed or intricate applique, I immediately assume they’ll be out of my price-range. Sure there are plenty of cheap options at F21 and similar spots that give off that same look but when you find ones that are legit, they’re usually not within budget. When I saw and felt THIS navy sweatshirt with white flowers, I knew it had to be mine. Currently I cannot get enough cozy yet fashionable sweatshirts and with price of $30 it was a no-brainer. It’s from Target {obsessed} and Victoria Beckham’s line {obsessed x2} so obviously it’s a gem. I’m loving so many of the pieces she created for this collaboration but I’ve noticed that they run pretty big; honestly I tried on two different dresses from the girl’s section and both fit. For reference, I’m wearing this particular top in an XS and it’s still a bit oversized. Casual vibes are always the right choice in my life so pairing my fun new sweatshirt with distressed denim and my bright white mules made errand running last weekend both easy and fashionable. This type of combo is the perfect alternative when I’ve over worn leggings and a workout hoodie for too many days in a row because I’m still comfortable but you don’t look at my wondering if I just rolled out of bed! Alright babes, off to crank out a few more hours at the office then off to the Eastern Time Zone! xox
