I’m back and apparently Fall is really here.

Like it is here in full-force. I think we hit our daily high when we woke up this morning and the temps are barely over 50* at the moment. The wind has picked up and it’s so cold {I’m a baby, I know!} that I had to shut all the windows in the house to keep the chill out of the air. I mean sitting down on a freezing cold toilet seat or putting bare feet on crisp wood floors is a small version of Hell to me. Thankfully my closet is currently stocked full of cozy knits, over-sized cardigans, booties galore and a few new scarves to wrap myself in!

On a side note: I just wanted to express my deepest thanks to every person who has reached out via text, calls, direct messages, comments, etc. in regards to the heartbreaking news Kyle & I received 10 days ago. Your prayers and positive thoughts have been such a ray of light in this incredibly dark and trying time. We’re both clinging to the hope that our journey to a baby is closer than it has ever been before. If you’re the praying type, continued prayers for peace/strength/understanding are much appreciated. <3

Under $50 = get in my closet.

When I spotted THIS adorable button-front thermal in an email from Urban Outfitters I expected the price tag to be $75+ so needless to say I was more than pleasantly surprised with what I saw instead: $44. And with 8 colors to choose from, I’m guessing just about every gal could find one that fits her style and needs! 😉 I don’t often say ‘you need this‘ but I’m telling you that if you decide to pull the trigger on this cutie, you’ll get SO MUCH wear out of it. I’ve only had it a few weeks and have worn it at least 5x. Cost-per-wear just keeps creeping lower and lower! I ended up going with the Dark Orange color {truly more of a rust red!} because I own nothing like it. I paired it here with one of my newer pairs of denim–shockingly these have NO rips or holes–and my favorite neutral booties. You can easily wear this buttoned and tied in the front like I did or unbuttoned with a simple cami and black jeans for date night. And honestly it’s so comfy that I may or may have already slept in it too. Hey, just getting my money’s worth! As the ideal ‘throw on & go’ top, I’m debating which color I also need to pick up. Currently debating between the pretty seafoam-ish green color and the black stripe. Thoughts?!

It feels so good to be back! I’ve got some fun news to share this weekend {finally a breath of fresh air & positivity} for those who don’t follow my personal Instagram account and can’t wait to add a new series/section on the blog starting in November! xox
