Give me ALL the sweaters.

The wind has been so brutal all day and the temps just keep creeping lower and lower each evening. I’m absolutely dreading the cold that is to come. I am a fan of snow only one day each year and that is Christmas. Otherwise, get this blustery, gloomy, chilly crap the F outta here. The only {very small} positive that comes with the change of seasons is buying new sweaters on the regular. Do I need more? I mean, absolutely I do. Kyle may say otherwise but that’s the main reason I have a job. Support my addiction to new clothes is nearly as important as making the cell phone payment. It’s all about priorities, y’all! 😉 On the other end of the spectrum I just had yet another doctor’s appointment and got some closure on everything. Hopefully things will finally start to turn around within my body over the next week or so. Prayers and positivity are very welcomed as always!

Peach Perfection.

Disclaimer: I HATE WOOL. If something has .0001% wool in it I can tell and there ain’t no way it’ll be touching my skin. Shocking then that I ended up pulling the trigger on this particular billowy-sleeved cutie. I knew from the get go that it had quite a bit of wool in it but there was something so unique about the style and shape that I just had to see if I could make it work. I’m really glad I did because I LOVEEE it. I can’t have it touching my skin directly–thank goodness for THIS long sleeve saving grace–but it’s worth the extra layer to me for sure. I’ve seen a bunch of gals sporting the pretty ivory color but I couldn’t resist this pinky-peach combination. The scalloped details on the cuffs and neckline are one of my favorite aspects, too! With a slightly cropped fit, my trusty high-waisted Levi’s were the perfect bottom pairing and I was super excited to ‘re-find’ these suede wedge booties that I bought a few seasons ago. The easiest casual date night look or for a late afternoon at the Pumpkin patch, this look will definitely be on repeat all Fall.
