5 months of Samuel Jacob💛

This busy guy is rolling all over, trying to scoot forward whenever he’s on his belly & can’t get enough of sitting upright to get a better view of his brothers playing! He continues to think sleep is overrated and much to our dismay apparently has VERY expensive taste in mattresses {he prefers our bed🫠}. He’s mastered belly laughs, blowing bubbles, is babbling nonstop & does not want anyone but mom - occasionally dad - to hold him.

Sammy boy is already giving us a run for our money but we love him so much!

We’re very deep in the trenches right now, running on fumes & broken sleep. I easily become overwhelmed with the lack of rest I’m getting both physically and mentally. But it’s in moments like this that I fall to my knees in prayer - pleading for peace yet also praising in thanksgiving.

If you’re in a tough season mama (or dada), I see you. I’m right there with you. My little sis reminded me to think of 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 ‘…for when I am weak, then I am strong.’ 🩵
