Can you believe it’s September!? Where has the Summer gone??? Actually, where has 2015 gone?! September is one of my favorite months because with it brings the start of Football season, trips to the Apple Orchard, weather that allows you to be comfortable in both shorts & jeans, and of course the changing of the leaves. With a new month upon us, I decided to do a quick roundup of the 7 things I will be {hopefully} buying in September. Take a look below:
- Flares. A great pair is going to be key this Fall. Loving these, these, & these. Since it’s been about 10 years since I last wore flares, I’ll be heading to the store to try before I buy! Alterations on whatever pair I choose is inevitable, so the length isn’t an issue for me.

- Versatile Skirt. Something that can be worn both with bare-legs and tights is key. My eye is currently on this one and this one.

- A 2016 Planner. It may seem WAY too early to pick up your planner for next year, but wait too long and the best ones are sold-out. I snagged this one before it sold out and am in LOVE. You also cannot go wrong with anything by Kate Spade or Erin Condren.

- Colored Boots. Of course we have to have our basics neutrals to match everything, but I’m on the search for a fun, slightly unexpected boot. This pair, these cuties, and these are topping my list at the moment.

- Transitional Trench. Sure, you probably already own a trench coat, but adding another one to your collection never hurts. Camel is always a great option but I’m really liking the look of the denim trenches. I’m high on this classic option and this darker style.

- Utility Vest. All the rage at the moment, utility vests are great pair over flirty swing dresses or in combination with your favorite skinnys and a striped top. I added this buttery soft vest to my closet last week, but also am a fan of the look of both this & this.

- A fun Backpack. With a variety of handbag styles trending at the moment, I’m jumping on the backpack bandwagon. It’s practical, stylish, and a nice change of pace from your typical totes. Wanting something to match anything I’m wearing, my taste is leaning towards this, this, and this. Hoping to see/feel each of these in person this weekend to help my decision!
