#1 Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

When I saw my girl Laura {find her on adorable blog Monograms + Moscato} post this recipe a week or so ago, I knew immediately I needed to try and make this for myself. She sent me the recipe via Pinterest {follow me HERE and her HERE!} I’m not a huge pasta person but lately I’ve had the oddest cravings for some freaking pasta and this finally satisfied that need. It’s super easy to make and the perfect Summer dinner. It’s honestly probably more of a side dish to take to a backyard BBQ or a day on the lake but I figured it has lettuce, veggies, noodles and chicken that most of the necessary food groups are covered and I’m counting it as a full meal. There also could’ve been some laziness involved in only wanting to make one thing for dinner but that’s beside the point. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I cooked the chicken ahead of time and then threw the rest of the ingredients together in less than 15. I knew that I wanted it to be chilled so I made it right after work and let it hang out in the refrigerator for an hour & a half while Kyle mowed and I walked Beckett. It is SO good and SO easy. Definitely try it!

#2 Yoga Camp

It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with yoga. When you find a workout that is just as good for the body as it is for the mind, I think you’ve discovered a winner. Because I’ve been so on the go and overwhelmed with so many things in general lately, I’ve neglected my practice a bit. On a side note, it is amazing to me how fast you can get ‘out’ of shape in comparison with how long it takes you to get into shape! Knowing that I needed to refocus, recenter and just chill more than usual, I decided to re-do Adriene Mishler’s 30 Day Yoga Camp. All of the videos are free {find them on Youtube!} and range from 20 minutes to an hour(ish). I kicked off camp on August 1 and have only missed one day so far, which is much better than I was even expecting! The ME time is incredibly relaxing and I’m finding that my yoga strength & flexibility are making their way back to me quickly.

#3 Mirrored Sunglasses

Obviously this is nothing new but like I can’t get enough of them lately. I honestly own over 15 pairs of sunglasses so I need 0 new pairs but I can’t stop adding new pairs to my cart. I love how young, fresh & fun they look and they totally add a flirty factor to the simplest of outfits. Westward Leaning has been killing it on their sunglasses styles this Summer and this tortoise shell pair with blue mirrored lenses are an obsession at the moment. A few others that are on my to-buy list once this month is over and I’m no longer on my self-induced spending spree include this circular purple pair, this unique acetate pair, these rimless Ray-Bans, a fun pair of pink cateyes, and these super inexpensive brown ones! What isย your favorite sunglasses style at the moment?!
