Warning: I am NOT a beauty expert. On a scale of 1-10, I’d rank myself a generous 4 on my makeup knowledge. My skincare game I’ve refined and am pretty happy with, but makeup…I am Plain Jane. My Sephora Sale Picks are not ground-breaking. That I can promise you. I can also promise you that each of these Sephora Sale Picks I have used, reused and then re-ordered again. Only 2 of these ~30 items am I not at least on my second go-round. And 1 of those 2 is my 1.25″ curling iron that I should hope I won’t have to repurchase for a LONG time.

**Also, MAJOR CREDIT for today’s blog post goes to my baby sister. Janae (Lizzie to me) created these graphics and she KILLED it.**

Makeup

For a quick rundown, my daily makeup routine is basic. Like BASIC basic. It goes: sunscreen, tinted moisturizer, mascara, lip gloss. Now assume I have to leave the house, then I swap the gloss for nude lipstick and feel done. For meetings or dates, I’ll add some bronzer, a little color from blush or a stain stick and ooooh if you’re lucky, I’ll also swipe on a layer of (drug-store only) eyeliner. So fancy over here! 🙂 I swear by THIS mascara & like to layer THIS one over it. Been doing it for years. My NARS stick has lasted forever. Oh and I jumped on the Pillowtalk Lipstick + Liner bandwagon a little over a year ago and I will not be getting off.

Skincare

My Sephora Sale Picks for skincare are nothing to brag about, but I legit tried any and every cleaners/moisturizer combo from every ‘cool’ brand and honestly, most sucked. Enter OleHenriksen. IDK if he’s a guy or…. Whatever though because the products are legit. The Banana Eye Cream is one of my top linked items over the last 6ish months. For good reason. BUHBYEEE to my insanely dark purple under eyes. Everyone’s skin concerns and needs are so different so take my picks with a grain of salt. Find your perfect combo and stick to it is my advice. If you choose to try just 1 thing from this category, go for the Jet Lag Mask. It’s bomb!

Hair / Body Care

Another area where I kind of have no business giving my insight on: hair products. But I do have hair and for some reason or another people seem to think mine is decent so I rounded up what I use regularly. Added some body care picks too because lets be honest, I don’t have enough hair OR body care products to fill up categories on their own, HA. Wondering if Olaplex Shampoo + Conditioner is worth the hype? It is. Most under-rated item on here? The Coconut Scrub. Kyle is OBSESSED. He has me put it on his back 1-2x/week in the Winter and it legit saves his dry skin. $39 seems extreme {ok, it IS extreme} but we’ve had our jar for about a year! Last but not least, PSA: BUY THE TAN DROPS. I know no one who doesn’t love them. Me included.
