Sweatshirts are my jam. Am I wearing a bra underneath them? Maybe. Maybe not. But cute sweatshirts are even better because you can feel incredibly comfortable while not appearing like you just rolled out of bed. While I have graduated–for the most part–from wearing over-sized sports hoodies out in public, I cannot pass up a great ‘adult’ version of the top that got me through many college days. 🙂 This particular polka dotted number was purchased during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale {shocking, I know…} and has since sold-out but I’ve found some equally cute options here, here, and here.

Needing to layer up for the chilly afternoon spent at DeSoto Wildlife Refuge, I pulled this soft sweatshirt over a basic chambray and added yet another Anniversary Sale steal inthese skinnys. I love how the fatigue color is unexpected but acts as a perfect neutral. This top is easily dressed up a bit with a more ‘professional’ button-up underneath and a pair of dress pants for the office or can be worn more casually with leggings and sneakers for running errands. I dress with the simple philosophy that you truly don’t have to sacrifice comfort for fashion and think that this sweatshirt is the perfect example of that!
