White is the new black.

Ok, I lied. Nothing trumps black. It is the end-all of colors for me, however white is really giving it a run for its money from now. Crisp, clean and fresh, white gives off effortlessly chic vibes to me. I’m loving white culottes, this white one-piece, a perfect white jumpsuit, an essential white crossbody, and everything in between. Heck, even my most recent pedicure was done in Essie’s ‘Marshmallow’ shade. LOVE it. So as the Style Collective Spring Style Challenge wraps up today, I could not think of a more on-trend theme than the ‘Pop of White’ which presented me with the perfect opportunity to shoot this gorgeous midi dress.

Are you really a blogger if you don’t own this dress?!

HA! Sorry. I had to. Seriously though, scroll through Instagram and I’m guessing you’ll see this a few times. Minimum. I honestly think every blogger, regardless of their follower numbers, owns this dress. At just under $70 it is easy to see why–it’s wallet-friendly! Usually I am not as attracted to pieces that everyone else has but the fact that this can be styled to fit any personality or event is what drew me in. I looked at it like it was a blank canvas and the midi length sealed the deal. I can just as easily wear a pair of bright pumps & bold necklace with this white number as I could with neutral slides, a skinny belt and a denim vest for brunch.

If you love it, rock it.

That’s my philosophy every day so when Kyle and I got reservations at the highly-rated and recommended George’s, I knew it was the perfect place to rock the white dress. George’s sits up above the gorgeous La Jolla Coast and overlooks a cove full of sea lions. Having a sunset dinner & drinks there was seriously perfection. Their food was great, service was great, and the ambiance even better; I highly recommend making a stop there if you’re in the area! Since I packed lightly–for me–I didn’t have a ton of options for accessorizing so I let the dress speak for itself and kept it basic with neutral wedges, simple gold hoops and a cocktail ring. Prior to purchasing this dress I wasn’t too familiar with the WAYF brand but they’re killing the midi dress game, in my opinion! I’m loving this, this, & this by them right now and the coral version of my dress is waiting patiently in my cart for me to pull the trigger.
