Give me all the cozy, fleece, convertible tunics.

A top that I can wear in more than one way, dress up and down and is equally as cozy as it is cute? Sold. Especially when it comes in 5 color choices and is under $55. And it’s even better when the material is super soft and provides a little bit of warmth on these frigidly cold days. Is anyone else sick of the cold yet? This weekend in Omaha was brutal. I swear that no matter what time I checked the temperature, the windchill kept it below 0. Even when the sun made an appearance, it was a frozen tundra of miserable-ness. Sure I grew up in the Midwest and I should be use to what January brings but it never fails that year after year I regret my decision to live where we do. I compare it to waxing…regardless of how many times I’ve had my eyebrows and lip waxed, it still stings when the cloth is ripped off my skin. A similar sting comes when I walk outside my front door or step out of my car  and it’s NOT cool. No pun intended! 😉

When everyone has the same thing…

Most of the time I tend to stay away from pieces that EVERY girl, blogger or otherwise, has because to me that is somewhat boring. But there are definitely instances where I go against my stance on that because I really like an outfit or specific piece. As long as I’m staying true to my personal style and buying things that I want, will get a lot of wear from, etc. then I’m fine with being one of the million who own said item(s). That is kind of where I fell with this fleece tunic. I noticed it on the Nordstrom website a while back {because I stalk the crap out of their New Arrivals & Sale pages like it’s my 2nd job} and added it to my cart. Side note: unless I’m 1000% positive I absolutely need whatever I put in my cart immediately, I tend to leave it sit for a few days to weigh my options. Yep, I’m a weirdo. Anyway, I let the tunic sit for a few days and then started noticing blogger after blogger on Instagram with the same top. The only difference being that I had my eyes on this dusty/heathered blue color rather than the grey that most were wearing. Because of that I waited, waited and then waited some more to see if I could maybe find a similar style and color combination, but when I couldn’t find another and couldn’t stop wanting this one, I pulled the trigger. To say I’m happy with my decision would be an understatement. I seriously love how soft it is, how I can wear it off the shoulder or like a cowl neck, can pair it with denim/leggings/work pants or tucked into a skirt, and how this blue is unlike anything else in my closet. If you’ve debated on this one, I definitely encourage you to pick your favorite color and order!
