#1 Caesar Salads

When I was in High School, I was obsessed with ordering Caesar Salads everywhere. I’m not sure if I thought they were cool or what, but any opportunity I was like ‘yes please.’ Then I realized they were not exactly the healthy choice so I stopped eating them. Random fact, my sister Haley is actually the queen of these. It doesn’t matter if we’re at a world-class seafood restaurant, she’d ordered a Caesar Salad + fries. #adulting Anyway, I recently grabbed some fresh Parmesan from Whole Foods that was on sale and thought to myself that I should make my own version of the famous salad at home. Kyle is obsessed and we have had them for dinner topped with rotisserie chicken/shrimp or as sides with another main course. I’ve been using spinach + parm + Walden Farm’s calorie-free Caesar dressing and shaking everything together in a sealed bowl before serving. SO. FREAKING. GOOD. I’m always super proud of myself when I can make a relatively high calorie combo into something much healthier that still tastes amazing.

#2 Push-Up Challenge

Did you catch yesterday’s WORKOUT WEDNESDAY post? I’m getting super excited to start round 2 of this challenge on Sunday. Push-ups are not one of my favorite things because my arms are most definitely the weakest part of my body. Legs? Load on the weights because this girl’s thighs are no joke. Abs? Despite the lack of ab definition, my core is surprisingly strong and I’m able to power myself through just about any abdominal exercise. Arms? HA. Give me modified push-ups and light weights for bicep curls. This challenge is all about improving my confidence in my arm strength. So who’s with me?! 🙂

#3 The SHOPBOP Sale!

Use code ‘MAINEVENT16’ for 25% off any purchase up to $500 or 30% any purchase over $500. This is one of my favorite sales of the year because brands like Stuart Weitzman, Vince, Hunter Boots, Tory Burch and Acne Studios are included and they NEVER go on sale. Especially not for this much of a discount. Now is the perfect time to grab those Golden Goose Sneakers you’ve been debating on or to pull the trigger on an early Christmas gift to yourself like THIS classic satchel. Prices go back up on October 14 so don’t wait! A few things I was eyeing are already sold out–huge bummer–but that’s probably best for my wallet. 😉 I’m sharing what I ordered below as well as some great picks under $100 and my splurge-worthy items! What have you already purchased or have in your cart right now!?
